What is the Council Tax Hardship Fund?
In March 2020 the government announced that they were allocating funds to each local authority to deliver Hardship Relief to council tax payers in their area due to Covid-19.
If you are already in receipt of Council Tax Support, you will automatically receive a further Council Tax reduction from the Council Tax Hardship Fund of up to £150.
If you have a Council Tax liability and you have suffered financial difficulty due to Covid-19 you may be able to apply for Universal Credit, Council Tax Support or other benefit.

We may check information that you provide, or information provided by a third party with other information we hold to check the accuracy of information; to prevent or detect crime; and to protect public funds in other ways, as permitted by law.

We may also use this information to put you in touch with council services that may be able to help you. We will not disclose information about you to anyone, unless the law permits us to.
