Heritage Flame volunteer application form

There are three events taking place in Aylesbury, all of which need volunteers

ParalympicsGB Carnival
Info: The Carnival will give opportunities for the public to try out a range of sports, test themselves in challenges and offer the chance to meet the stars from previous Paralympics.
Volunteering role: Volunteers are needed across the site to help members of the public with information, safety and accessibility for all.
Venue: Stoke Mandeville Stadium, Aylesbury
Volunteering time: 9am-5pm
Date: Friday 2 September

Flame Lighting
Info: Guests and officials from across the Paralympic world are coming to see a ceremony at the stadium celebrating the start of the international leg of the torch relay.
Volunteering role: Volunteers are needed to staff the many supporting logistical roles around this unique event and will be needed for a 7 hour shift with a latest finish of 11pm. Some volunteers may also be required for on the Thursday 1 September to help with rehearsals.
Venue: Stoke Mandeville Stadium, Aylesbury
Volunteering time: 8am-11pm
Date: Friday 2 September (also on Thursday 1 September)

Town Centre Event
Info: This free public event in Aylesbury Town Centre is in conjunction with the Heritage Flame Lighting and features artistic companies and performers throughout the afternoon and evening, as well as procession of the Heritage Flame after it has left Stoke Mandeville Stadium.
Volunteering role: Volunteers are needed across the town centre to help members of the public with information, safety and accessibility for all.
Venue: Vale Park, Aylesbury
Volunteering time: 5pm-9.30pm
Date: Friday 2 September
